The category that built SVA
Chile to China, in one of the most demanding windows in fruit.
Chinese New Year demand for premium dark cherries is the most concentrated fresh-fruit event on earth. Between mid-December and early February, an entire year of work in Chilean orchards has to land in Shanghai, Guangzhou and Hong Kong cold rooms in firm, dark, blemish-free condition.
SVA Fruits was founded to take responsibility for the whole journey — orchard, packing, ocean and air freight, customs, cold storage, distribution to receivers, and reconciliation. The result is a single trusted door for our shareholders into a market that punishes mistakes.
Eight varieties, one season

From orchard
to retail shelf — unbroken.
Cherries are picked at dawn, hydro-cooled within hours, sorted by size, colour and firmness on automatic optical lines, then loaded into reefer containers at -1°C for the 22-day Pacific transit (or onto charter flights when the calendar demands it).
Every container is reconciled against the original packing list and the sale to the Chinese receiver — caliber by caliber, brand by brand — through SVA World. There is no gap between what we ship and what we account for.
